Overview

Saona is the postcard you have seen a hundred times — and it is better in person. We pick you up at your hotel, drive to the coast with a bilingual guide and board a speedboat into the Parque Nacional del Este.

Halfway across, the boat stops at a shallow natural pool where the water barely reaches your waist and starfish rest on the sand. Then it is beach time: a Dominican lunch, open bar and music on one of the island’s palm-lined beaches.
